Each year SEAFAIR selects a King and Queen based on their remarkable volunteer service to be honored as SEAFAIR royalty. The 55th King Neptune is Roberto Maestas, Executive Director, El Centro de la Raza, one of the most effective civil rights and human service organizations in the country. The 5th Queen Alycone is Jeannie Nordstrom who is active with the Pike Place Market Foundation, Island Wood Outdoor Learning Center, Washington Women's Foundation, and Friends of Cancer Lifeline. Both will be honored participants in the Southwest Airlines Torchlight Parade at SEAFAIR, Saturday evening, July 31.
