El Centro de la Raza's After School Facilities Project

We would like to thank those who are helping fund one of our childrens' most important program. El Centro de la Raza's After School Program has been operating since 1995 and has recently obtained a provisional State of Washington license. The goals of this project are to successfully construct a second exit, a seperate restroom, and two activity sinks into the After School Program room in order to meet the requirements for permanent licensing. The purpose for reaching these goals is to maintain licensed status after October 24, 2003, when the current provisional license expires, so that the After School Program can continue to provide enhanced services.

Once again, El Centro de la Raza, would like to thank the following organizations for their generous contribution to the After School Program.

Muckleshoot Tribe $58,786.00
The Seattle Foundation $15,000.00
D.V. & Ida McEachern Charitable Trust $4,000.00
